Membership info:
There are 2 USARS membership options:
- “Full Membership” option which is required for any competitor that is competing in USARS Scootering Qualifier & National Events. The fee for this membership tier is $90 a year. OR
- "Single Event Membership"- $25- Registered in the Sport80 System similar to all other memberships- Allowed to compete in any USA Roller Sports Sanctioned event excluding qualifying events (Valid for 5 days After Registration Date- If purchased ahead of time please contact the USARS office to changed validity dates of membership to reflect dates of event)
Park divisions/definitions:
1. Beginner: Little to no contest experience. Basic trick knowledge. Riders in this division shouldn't be able to do much more than single tailwhips, single bar spins, finger whips, 360s, simple airs, minimal combinations, and no flips. Age range: 14 and under
2. Intermediate: Some contest experience and mid level trick knowledge and consistency. Tricks in this division would look like multiple whip variations, basic flips (backflip fly out), basic overheads, small combinations (whip finger), etc.
3. Open: Several years of contest experience or for riders who have consistently been at the top of intermediate level standings. Advanced trick selection and good consistency. Tricks in this division you will see are overhead combos, consistency with flips, some flip combos, etc. Open class can contain pro level riders, OG riders, and/or up and coming riders. Open means you can be a young rider looking to compete with the older more skilled crowd. Or you can be an older rider looking to push yourself against some of the new up and coming prodigies.
COMPETITION FORMAT:
- 2x 45 second runs
- Best run count
- Riders can receive a maximum of 100 points for each run
- All ramps are usable in lines except resi.
- Judges look for consistency, park usage, trick selection, and style.
